Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Surgical Oncologist (MCh / DrNB) to join our Oncology Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, staging, and surgically managing a wide range of cancers, collaborating closely with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and the multidisciplinary cancer care team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform oncology surgeries including organ-specific resections, minimally invasive, and reconstructive cancer surgeries.
Evaluate and manage patients with solid tumors from diagnosis to post-operative care.
Collaborate in multidisciplinary tumor boards for treatment planning.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
Educate patients and their families about treatment options, surgical risks, and prognosis.
Participate in clinical audits, research, and continuous medical education (CME) programs.
Mentor and train junior doctors, surgical residents, and nursing staff
Qualifications & Experience
MCh / DrNB in Surgical Oncology from a recognized medical institution.
Valid registration with NMC / State Medical Council.
Minimum 0–5 years post-qualification experience (fresh MCh/DrNB graduates are encouraged to apply).
Expertise in both open and minimally invasive oncology surgeries.
Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
